Happy National Registered Dietitian Day!
Happy early National Registered Dietitian Day (March 13th)!
Let me introduce myself to folks who are new to the blog.
I’m a former Special Education teacher who went back to school after raising three (amazing) children to become a Pediatric Dietitian. I opened my private practice about 9 years ago and have focused my time on my favorite population: kiddos who struggle with eating (and their families).
The kids I see often have something else going on besides “picky eating”, such as a sensory difference, learning disability, or developmental delay.
My background as an educator who is accustomed to collaborating with other professionals really counts in the work that I do now. I love to connect and brainstorm with occupational therapist and speech pathologists to make a bigger impact.
I LOVE what I do and am grateful that my previous profession gave me an extra set of skills to help the families I serve. <3
