Why I Love My Air Fryer (And You Might Too!)

Let’s just get right to it: kids love crispy, dry foods–french fries, chicken nuggets, potato chips, to name a few. If you’ve ever wanted to replicate that crispiness at home with minimal fuss, an air fryer is for you.

I finally bought a dorm-sized (aka: tiny) air fryer for my office and it’s proving to be even better than the microwave. I admit it: I fell in love.

Here’s why I’m a fan:

  • It’s fast. Way faster than preheating an oven. You can throw in some frozen veggies, chicken tenders, or even tofu, and dinner is ready in minutes.
  • It makes things crispy. Think roasted potatoes, crunchy chickpeas, or even reheated pizza that actually tastes good.
  • Way less oil. You still get that satisfying crunch but without the heavy greasiness. Perfect if you’re trying to lighten things up.
  • Easy cleanup. One basket. Nonstick. Done.

Whether you’re cooking for one or feeding a family, the air fryer makes it so much easier to get food on the table—fast, tasty, and with less mess. What’s not to love?
