My favorite smells of the holiday season

It is my favorite time of year! The smells associated with the winter holidays–balsam fir trees, spicey gingerbread, the buttery smell of cookies, hot cocoa…….I love it all! You know I’m nuts for a home baked cookie and the more involved the better. There is no recipe too complicated to deter me.

Maybe you’re a new baker and want a simple cookie to bake with your kiddo. No worries—I’ve got you covered. Below I’m listing some of my favorite resources to get cooking with your family.

I don’t receive compensation for recommending any of these. I’m just a super fan and want to share with you.

Cooking Resources:

Chop Chop Cooking Magazine– This quarterly magazine is, hands down, my favorite resource to start cooking together.

Chop Chop Family podcast– Listen to this brand new podcast with your kiddo and let me know what you think.

Raddish Kids Cooking Kits-Raddish Kids kits come straight to your door with a recipe & a new kitchen tool. A super fun Holiday Gift!

The Culinary Playground– Live in the Manchester area? Here are some in-person cooking events for kid.

Cooking Matters-During my dietetic internship I lead Cooking Matters classes up in the Northern part of NH. It was one of the most satisfying part of my program.
