More Books about Food for Kids
Last week I shared some of my favorite resources for cooking with kids. This week I have more books about food for you. If you missed my blog last week, you can find it here.
Cooking together is a way to expose your child to new ingredients and to build cooking skills like stirring, measuring, cutting, chopping and washing. Even if your kiddo doesn’t eat the final product (keep expectations low!) the exposure is valuable. At this time of year you can make homecooked gifts for grandparents, friends & neighbors. Baking for someone else reduces pressure that might keep a kiddo from participating.
Cookbooks & books about food make good gifts and are a great way to get your kiddo interested in novel foods. While searching for a resource for one of my families, I stumbled across a few books that I want to share with you.
As always, I don’t receive any compensation for these recommendations. If you get one, let me know how it goes 🙂
Snack Idea: Small cheese quesadilla & salsa
Please feel free to share this with someone who may like to learn more about cooking with kiddos!
